Mike Walden

Mike is a qualified Sports Injury Therapist, creator & CEO of the Virtual Sports Injury Clinic. Mike holds a degree in Physical Education, Sports Science and Physics, Diploma in Fitness Training & Sports Therapy and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. An experienced teacher of Physical Education and Sports Massage, Mike has also trained with the British Army and has competed at National level in the Decathlon. He has coached youth football (soccer), rugby and athletics.

Neal Reynolds

Neal ReynoldsNeal joined the team at sportsinjuryclinic.net in the summer of 2015 and is a vastly experienced sports physiotherapist who has over 17 years of experience working in professional sport.  He has worked at Oxford United FC, West Bromwich Albion FC, Arsenal and the for the past 5 years headed up the medical team at Premiership side Norwich City FC.  He is the current physiotherapist for the England Men’s Under 17 team and also works as a Senior Lecturer at Buckinghamshire New University teaching on the Sports Therapy degree course.  His areas of special interest are injury prevention and preventing re-injuries.

Jenny Pacey (Fitness expert)

Jenny PaceyAlso recognised as Enigma from Sky 1's 'Gladiators’, Jenny is an international athlete, UK industry-leading fitness expert, Fitness Model and Sports Entertainment TV Presenter. Jenny’s career has included performances as an Olympic Bob-sleigher, International Pentathlete and she also Long jumped for Great Britain for over a decade. Jenny demonstrates a number of exercises throughout Sportsinjuryclinic.net and has her own fitness consultancy (Pace & Go) with partner Wayne Gordon (also from Sky TV Gladiators).

Richard Villar (Surgeon)

Richard Villar is one of the top Orthopaedic Surgeons in the World. As former Surgeon to the British Army Special Air Service Regiment he has practised medicine in some of the most remote and challenging environments. Richard Villar qualified in medicine at St. Thomas’s Hospital in London (UK) before joining the military as the Regimental Medical Officer to the SAS. Whilst practicing at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Richard developed his interest in conservative hip surgery and now has one of the largest experiences of hip arthroscopic (keyhole) procedures in the world. Richard has served as a member of Council of the British Orthopaedic Association, is an assessor for the General Medical Council, and is a member of the United Kingdom’s Disaster Emergency Response Team.

Jerry Gilmore (Surgeon)

Jerry is a Consultant Surgeon specialising in groin pain. During research for the master of Surgery Degree he developed an interest in wound healing which evolved into specific interest in soft tissue injuries and repair. Jerry was the first surgeon to diagnose and successfully repair the condition that is now termed Gilmore's Groin. In 1980 he recognised the syndrome of Groin disruption in sportsmen and undertook the first successful repair. In 1991 Jerry established The Gilmore Groin and Hernia Clinic in London’s Harley Street.

Simon Marsh (Surgeon)

Consultant Surgeon and Director of Surgery at the Gilmore Groin clinic in Harley Street, London. Simon Marsh trained at Trinity College Cambridge and the Clinical School, Addenbrookes Hospital.  Simon is an expert in Gilmores groin surgery and associated conditions as well as post surgery rehabilitation.

David Lloyd (Surgeon)

Consultant Surgeon David specializes in groin surgery. Pioneer of the Lloyd release operation. David Lloyd provides us with his expert insight regarding groin pain, a 'sportsman’s hernia' and the Lloyd release surgery.

Maria Madge (Chiropractor)

Chiropractor Maria specialises in spinal adjustments, and works extensively with athletes. Maria has trained in Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT) and other methods. Maria runs her own Chiropractic  clinic in Norfolk, UK.

John Williams (Osteopath)

John is a leading Osteopath and a Sports Injury Therapist. John is a registered Osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council and a member of the British Osteopathic Association. John is also a trained Sports Therapist and has taught Sports Therapy for Premier Training & Development, one of the UK's top training establishments. John is a keen sportsman, having completed several marathons and competed successfully at national level in Karate.  John has a particular interest in Sacroiliac joint dysfunction.

Ian Sadler (Podiatrist)

Expert sports Podiatrist Ian specialises in foot biomechanics for athletes and serving members of the armed forces. He is the principle clinician at The Biomechanics Clinic in Norwich, UK.

Susan Findley

Founder of the North London School of Sports Massage, Susan is a Sports Massage Teacher & Practitioner with extensive experience.

Daniel Spencer

Daniel has a wide range of experience in anything media related having worked on documentaries through to current affairs through to social history programmes through to music videos. He is constantly involved with program making for the corporate sector and broadcast alike, alongside his work with Sportsinjuryclinic.net and TeachPE.com. Daniel is Strategic Director for the Norwich video production company, Curveball Media.

Matt Ellis
