A shock absorbing insole can provide cushioning and shock absorption
for injury prevention and protection whilst recovering. The
shock stopping material absorbs some of the repeated impact
by absorbing the impact and dissipating the energy waves that
are created. The recovery rate of the material means that the
energy is not simply reflected back into the limb, but it recovers
quick enough for the next step. The footbed replaces the existing
insole to help prevent overuse and impact injuries such as shin
spints, bruised heels and stress fractures.
