Hello,
I recently hurt my foot playing volleyball. I have had ankle sprains before with my other foot, but what I encountered with this injury is not in the ankle like the others. I landed with the ball of my foot on someone's foot, and my foot rolled slightly in, but mainly up (towards my knee). I know this sounds strange but it wasn't a typical side roll at all.
The pain I have now is along the very top of my arch (top of my foot), with a little tenderness on the inside of the arch. I also feel a soreness on both sides of my lower leg (but not the front or back).
I have been keeping it elevated and iced. The swelling is not nearly as bad as my other ankle sprains though.
Does anyone know what exactly this is?
Thanks for your help,
