Hi
Would need a bit more information to offer any advice.
When did the pain start, was there an incident or did it come on gradually?
What movements cause you pain? Is the pai worse with any activities?
Is it worse at any particular time of day, or is it worse after activity or maybe before and then it warms up and eases?
Thanks, all of this will help to build up a picture of your injury

Ok, thanks.
If you have any neural symptoms at all (i.e. the pins and needles feeling) then your Doctor shouldn't be ignoring it. These kind of symptoms indicate nerve involvement to one degree or another. It may be an impingement (where the nerve is being trapped) or it may be damage to the actual nerve.
I would return to the Doctor, make sure you explain these symptoms fully and that nothing has improved. He should refer you, hopefully for an MRI, but at least to a physio (or similar - depending where you live!) who can assess the injury properly and decide on the best course of action.
