I am 46yrs old, female, 5'2" 104#. I exercise moderately regularly and have done so for years. I walk 2miles on treadmill at 4mph each morning. At night I do approx 25 minutes of butt and leg exercises to a tape by The firm. About 3 weeks ago I started to experience butt pain/low back pain when I walk. If I take big fast steps it is worse. It does not hurt when resting. I could do the 2 miles on treadmill without pain if I were to bend over. It is kind of hard to pinpoint where the pain is exactly. Last week I stopped everything for 5 days and it seemed to improve a little. Yesterday I did 2 miles and it hurt the whole time. Today I did nothing. Does this sound like a sports related injury that I can treat myself? I will die if I have to give up exercising!!! Please help.

as you have been excercising that much...try this for 5 days and see if helps..
put some weight on your shoulders and walk down the stairs...

if you want an idea...go into a building where these is a lift and lots of stairs as well...go up in the lift and walk down the stairs..do it for 10 minutes for 5 days and see if this helps...
