I have been training for my first Marathon, and about less than a month to go, I am in pain. I really can't tell you where the pain starts from, but when I walk putting my right foot on the ground it huts that I start limping. My left leg is all fine, but my right leg hurts when I walk and worst when I ran. I love running long distances, but I don't know where the pain began or how I injured myself. I also don't know if the pain is from my hip, or groin or it could be my upper leg.
All I know is that when I put pressure on my right foot, it hurts. Sometimes when I strengh, the pain relieves a little. The pain is constantly, and not only after running now. I know is not my lower leg, but its my upper leg before the torso. Can anyone give me opinions and advice, and for example how should I ice it, when I don't know where the pain is actually located. Also, I won't run until the pain is gone, but do you recommend that I do other cardio activities like cycling?
Thanks,
