Hi everyone!! Bare with me please :)

I would look into this problem further online however doing anything on dial up is hell and my doctor decided that he'd just refer me to a specialist without saying anything.
It first began when doing lateral rises in my shoulder workout and my left shoulder began clicking on the abduction phase it caused me no pain or distress so I didn't think twice about it. It then began clicking on the adduction phase aswell, my other shoulder soon followed suit by ocassionally clicking, again I felt no pain or discomfort but was aware that something wasn't right.

I stopped my shoulder workouts temp., I then began light work again but it worsened the problem once more. I started to get a dull ache in my left shoulder when just sitting down not using it, it often felt the weight of my arm was just pulling it out of the socket. When rotating my arm bent anti clockwise it felt like a bottle cap being screwed the wrong way - as I rotated my arm it would raise out the socket and as my arm hit approx. 12 o'clock it would 'drop' back into the socket. My shoulder would also become stiff if it was used as a stabiliser in any exercise.

Because I'm back to Uni in a week or so I don't want to have to wait until I get there, get to the surgery, get referred to a specialist and then wait to be seen. Hopefully one of you can help me :)

Thank for your time and any help - sorry for the lengthy post!!! :)
