View Full Version : Pain at Top Center after Bone Spur Surgery

I had surgery 7 weeks ago for a bone spur on my big toe. The toe flexibility and pain have gotten way better following the treatment (Can't remember the name of the surgery, but the cut a wedge in the bone and put a screw in...).

Recently, the past two weeks, I am limping again because of a knot at the center top of the foot. I looked up some info on this type of pain and it looks like I am experiencing Extensor Tendonitis.

Has anyone out there had this. They recomend stretching the calf to help alleviate. Does that mean pushing the heel down with the leg back, I think this is the only stretch for the calf. I have been stretching the toe up by moving the leg back as far as possible and bending the toe upward.

Anyone with any direct experience, please let me know...
