Broke my radius at the elbow 2 months ago skiing. Had to have a screw put in to fix bone back in correct position. Now getting a good range of movement back (can get arm almost straight and bent beyond 90 degrees). Bad news is horrible creaking when I bend arm fron straight and also when I rotate (supinate?). Surgeon says its scar tissue and may never go away. Is this normal? Should I be seeking more intervention? X-rays show the screw to be sunk below level of bone but it just sounds like a heck of a lot of friction is going on. Thanks for any reply Dave
