Different sized thighs

Can anyone help?

I have a patient, i've been seeing who has different size thighs. His right leg looks and measure a lot smaller than his left leg.

Does anyone know what it could be? and how it could be treated?

Sounds like muscle wasting or atrophy.
There will be a reason behind this...previous injury or biomechanical abnormality are the usual culprits!
