Im a 20year old and have been running for the past 10yrs. About a month ago i have changed training from 10km/5km to 800m/1500m sessions. I use my spike shoes three times a week when im doing my speed sessions on the track and the rest of the other days i go for my runs on the road with my normal running shoes. Lately i've been having problems with my calf. Everytime i start my warm up (slow jog) i feel my calf is feeling really heavy and tired, i've never experienced it like this so i have no clue why this is happening. The funny thing is that this only happens in my right calf, my left calf is just fine. I've been trying to stretch it well before i start running but its pretty useless, it feels like i've got an extra 3kg stuck to my right calf and sometimes it feel like the muscle is really tight. However, i also feel my right calf muscle uncomfortable when im walking and soemtimes even when im sitting down. Till now i've never had any serious injuries and i hope this wont be the first..
