Camberwell Carrot

Been doing a bit of rresearch but am a little stumped, any help welcome.
First, here's how it happened:
Playing football about 2 mins into game I received a sharp blow (set of studs) down the inside of my right ankle. Immediate pain but I played on thinking it would go away. By half time (40 mins later, I know I'm an idiot for playing on) the pain was worse and coudln't really kick a ball so came of.
Initial Symptoms
Immediate swelling on the inside of the ankle, one cut down ankle bone where stud had broken skin and pain when trying to walk. Inside lower leg and inside ankle very red, lower inside ankle went purple in patchs (I was told this was from a burst vein, nothing to worry about).
I have been to two different doctors. My work is quite physical but the first doctor said I would be back at work by Friday. By Friday I still couldn't walk or put pressure on foot so went to a different doctors. They took x-rays, concluded it wasn't broken but that there was alot of 'soft tissue' damage and advised I would need another 10 days before returning to work.
Anyway...10 days later and there is little improvment.
CURRENT SYMPTONS.
Swelling 90% gone.
Can't straighten foot (increasing pain if I try and area up inside of ankle feels tight).
Can't stand or put weight on foot, can limp around if I use just toes.
Hurts to touch on lower inside ankle.
Hurts to touch on lower front shin.
Still alot of brusing which has travelled half way up my leg, yellow turning to blue and purple in places.
Arch of injured foot is more curved compared to uninjured (not sure if this is a symptom or whether foot has always been like this)
I am currently treating the areas by using a heat pack, regular massaging, wearing a compression bandage when walking and gently moving ankle to limits of motion without causing pain.
Any ideas please?
I will be going back to the doctors but have little faith in them so far.
