Kia Ora!
So my sad story goes like this:
I ruptured my achilles tendon twice last year. First rupture happened in April and was treated conservatively by immobilising my leg for 10 weeks. Second rupture occured in September and was treated surgically. I am currently 6 months out of the cast, WOOHOO! lol. Unfortunately I feel like my fear of re-rupturing is holding me back. I can feel that the power and strength in my leg is not the same as it was and I know that will come back with time but my urge to push myself physically has taken a nose dive. I want to push past this but Im scared I will push too far or too hard and end up right back at square one. How do I get over this fear?
