Hi,

a little more information would be helpful. When did this start? Was there an incident or did it just come on gradually?

Where exactly is the pain? and what kind of pain is it? (aching, sharp, dull etc).

What movements trigger the pain in particular? Is there a time of day or specific movement which makes it worse?

Sorry for all the questions, but they are necessary bits of information for me to know, before I can offer any advice
Thanks!

Hi again!

Sounds a lot like a muscle spasm, possibly a small tear in the trapezius. The best thing you can do is to rest it, stretch it several times a day and then visit a sports masseuse. You will find this works wonders and after a couple of sessions will feel like new.
