I tore my pec. muscle in October, while rowing.

I continued to row to finish out my fall season. I did our winter workouts which include and on water training session in Jan.

During this time I was doing PT for strengthening my injury and working on spasms within my shoulder.

In March, I had to stop rowing all together because the pain had become so bad that I was experiencing severe pains that started at my collar bone and race down my arm causing my arm to go numb, whenever I worked out. The pain was affecting my wrist and soon I wasn't able to do daily things such as opening doors, or turning my keys to a door.

I met with a sports orthopedic surgeon, chiropractor, continued PT for months, and stopped working out completely for 3 months, in hopes that I would recover. The doctors thought I had possibly a condition where the aorta artery gets blocked, but nothing was made of that. It was also noticed that 2 of my ribs had seperated, due to the pain I was experience in those ribs and in my sternum.

9 months later since the original injury. I still experience pain in my shoulder all though it is not as severe, I am also not working out at the capacity I once did. I cannot run. When I try to run, I experience the sharp pains in my collar bone, and 2 of my ribs on my right side pop in and out when I breathe hard.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice to offer, as at this point I am desperate to recover and get back to where I was as an athlete.

Any advice/support is welcome.
