My mom is under the care of a foot and ankle surgeon and was told that the fat pads on her feet are thinning. Because of this she experiences extreme pain when walking. He suggested Restlyane injections to plump up the foot cushions as the bone is so close to the skin. Does anyone have any first hand experience with this procedure? He told her that the benefits could last up to 9 months. I am familiar with the effects of restylane used on the face but have not heard too much otherwise. Any info would be helpful!
