Hi,

I sprained my ankle playing football on bonfire night 2006, so 6 months ago. The injury occured after i recieved a kick under my right ankle which sort of jarred my ankle.

After leaving for 2-3 months hoping that giving my ankle time to heel word work fine. I went to see a physio who treat my ankle and after seeing him 4 times in 2 weeks the pain had gone but from then and til now i feel i am still walking and running on the outside of my right foot, hence i havent played football since.

Is this just entirely mental or is there a technical explanation to it (my doctor said it could be something to do with the ligaments joining too fast whilst i was walking funny).

Is there also any exersizes i could do to speed up the process.

Someone please help me.
