hi everyone, i hope someone out there has a clue to my ongoing symptoms.
every sunday i train legs at the gym- usual routine goes, SQUATS- BARBELL LUNGES -LEG EXTENTIONS- STIFF LEG DEAD LIFT etc
THEN in the region of 18 -24 hours later the pain in my lower bicep and upper forearm on both arms is excruciating..
note- my arms are pain free before i start legs.
..This pain last for several days but is further aggrevated at work or the gym . trying to train other body parts 100% is impossible because you use yours arms in almost everything.
all i think it can be is stretched and inflamed tendons caused by picking up 20kg plates and sliding them on the bar . i have worn those neoprene supports 4 both arms but to no avail. i have also tried doing light curls x 50 reps(b4 squats) to warm and loosen my arms ..... still the pain returns the next day
also its not down to rest as i have had two months off last year only for the pain to reappear almosy immediately.
i train every other day ....... any ideas out there PLEASE !

Hmm. well Im not a professional, but I have worked with trainers alot! I know you posted this a while ago and see that no one has responded.. So I will give it a shot.
Even though the weight you are using is for your legs, Your upper body is still having to support it and balance it. Unconsciously, your upper arms are trying to help your legs and do so by lifting as well..
Therefore, your arms are just not as strong as your legs. Unfortunately, you need to get with a trainer and find some new ways/ techniques to work out with..
Also, keep in mind, you should balance your upper and lower body strengths. Your legs maybe really strong, but can your upper body support the weight needed for your legs?
Hope I helped in some way. Take Care!
