I injuried my forearm a couple months ago when I was spotting someone that was bench pressing. I was helping him lift the weight with my palms up and I got this sharp pain in my left forearm. It feels like the pain goes down my arm a little bit but the main pain comes from about mid-way up my forearms on the medial side when my palms are facing up. I feel the pain when I rest on my forearms when sitting at a desk. The most amount of pain is experienced when I am curling. I often have a hard time letting go of my grap when I set down the weight. I've gone and had an mri and an x-ray, both came back negative. Can anyone give me any useful information? Thanks.

Hi

Is the pain in both forearms then? And what kind of pain would you say it is? Sharp? achey? is it there all the time or just when you do the things you described?

I am surprised nothing came up on the MRI. They didn't find anything at all?

Its only in one arm, my left. I get an achy kinda feeling in it throughout the day but if i go and workout or play basketball ill get a sharp pain when doing certain exercises. Like curling, I have a hard time relaxing my grip after I put the weight down because of the pain in my forearm.
