    Question Back Injured playing football

    Hi everyone
I got clattered a couple of weeks ago playing football and have had a really bad back pain since, I went to the doctors and he said it was a deep muscle tear and I should just rest it, they said Physiotherapy would help but I really cannot afford it!! I am desperate to get back playing so I did some research into possible things to speed up my recovery – has anyone heard of Ultralieve Pro? It is an ultrasound device similar to ones Physios use apparently – You can do a free 30 day trial through their website so I guess there is nothing to lose but I was interested to know if anyone had used it before and if it worked?? – please reply to this if you have!! otherwise ill update this thread with how I get on.

    Hi

I can only advise you to be careful when using such things. Physio's etc have had special training in how to use them to prevent damage to the tissues and how to get the best results from them.

I would also recommend that instead of buying one of these you visit a sports injury specialist as you can never be too careful with back injuries and G.P's are not trained as extensively in these things.

Hi! Im glad to have found this thread. I am very thankful for the advice I read here. I also got an injury about 2 years ago but that was due to a bad stance. My trainor advised me that stance is very important so that all your reflexes and muscles are in good and perfect order.
