    Default Lower Back Pain

One day i played badminton too much while i was tired, and my mild back pain got very strong and intense. I consulted an ortho. doctor and he advised me to do the lower back pain exercises like trunk flaction stretch, pelvic tilt, prone lumber extension, double knee to chest stretch, alternate leg extension, etc. The exercises are giving some relax but it is not curing my pain. The doc. said keep doing these exercises and there is nothing serious in my back. But still i am feeling strong pain. Usually it increases when i bend downwards. I want to know whether i can get rid of this back pain or not. and whether i can play badminton in such conditions because when i get warmed up the pain seems to be gone or there left very less pain. Actually the thing is i have started playing sports at the age of 22 and now i am going to 25 year old. Earlier i uses to play very less or almost not. i usually get cramps while playing. But this pain is now 3 months long. please help.

For many patients who don't like taking medications, simple treatments such as heating pads or application of topical rubs such as Ben-Gay have proven to be effective for relieving lower back pain.
