    Default discomfort in neck

Hello, I have been having a problem. My problem is when I turn my neck, it almost feels like its tearing in certain spots. Also, every time I turn it, I can feel my whole spine move. It also looks super elongated, like it is higher than usual. My face also feels very tight, like the skin is stretching more than usual This problem has been going on for a year now and is incredibly uncomfortable and not natural. I have been to a chiropractor and a physical therapist. The PT said I had weak pecs so that's where my neck was suffering. But I did all the exercises he gave me and they didn't help. So I was wondering if anyone could maybe shed some light onto what happened and what I can do to correct it.

    What did the Chiropractor do/say?
I would try to take it further and visit your GP. Try to get a referral for an MRI or X-ray. You can never be too careful with the neck.
Hopefully it will just be something quite simple like a muscle imbalance as the PT suggested (I'm not really sure that weak pecs sounds very likely though).
Have you tried massage and stretching to the traps and chest and strengthening to the mid back and anterior neck? These are the most common imabalances.
If there has been no traumatic injury as such then I would guess (and it is just a guess) that it is postural.

get some one to release your scalenes.....very common promlem with necks.on your back release the fascia from under the arm to the bottom of the shoulder blade. the the deltoid in tothe pecs, this will make it easier to release the scalenes.then breath deeply for 20. this will help the muscle to settle down .ps u may feel slightly dizzy after the breathing.then get them to massage your stomachreleasing tension there.....stand tall and breath....
