I've all but given up hope basically...here's my situation.
I'm 23 years old...but injury dates back to when I was about 16-17 years old.
I was playing competive baseball...I played infield, but took up pitching for the summer...I had good pitching coaches and was trained well...but it is in pitching I think I hurt my shoulder...I do not remember the exact injury...just that by the end of that summer season, I could not throw with any power from my shoulder (right handed)..I could still toss a ball half decent using basically my wrist for power...but when I tried throwing hard, I had incredible pain in my shoulder...it's hard to describe...but basiaclly if I tossed with any shoulder power, my arm felt numb with pain...after a few minutes the pain would fade...but throw again..and it would be back...the pain feels like it's in the front of my shoulder, deep inside...I took the winter off and tried again in spring...same thing...I have no pain at all at any other time or in any other activities (weight training, basketball, ect)...I've seen doctors, sports/physiotherapsit, ect, but none can offer me anything except telling me that there's nothing I can do...which frustrates me...my college ball dreams are long gone, but I miss the sport so much...the only thing one doctor mentioned was a labrum tear...not sure what this is...but if there is any hope of me being able to throw again, I would consider it...
I apologize for the length of the post...but I have tried everything...
