In August 2006 a horse fell with me causing a Grade III dislocation of my left AC joint. It didn't get right so I had a Weaver Dunn operation in Feb 2007 to fix it. Brilliant! Someone flicked the 'pain off' switch. But 3 months later after getting the all clear to start riding again, I was getting on my horse for the first week and I heard a crack. I had broken my coracoid process. It failed to mend and so in Sept 2007 I had a hook plate fixation and a screw in the coracoid process plus bone graft. I am still in a lot of pain and discomfort and can't even drive - the op was 8 weeks ago. Has anyone had anything similar? I would like to know if I am being too impatient!
