    Default I need an opinion

    Hello,
A couple months ago I noticed something weird with my shoulder.. When I rolled them my muscles started popping over my collar bone or something like that. It never caused me any pain so I never did anything about it.
Well, about 1 month ago i noticed my shoulder was sliding out of place (shoulder instability) and it started doing that very frequently like when i was carrying a heavy bag it would slide out. But that did not cause me any pain either.
Well, about 2 weeks ago it has started giving me pain, and it hurts bad.. It hurts to lift my arm and my shoulder just feels weak. I also noticed that if I push that back of my shoulder it would come out in the front, this does not hurt too bad.
It only hurt when it is hit, lifted, or pretty much used in any way. It effects my sleeping habits because I can not lay on it confortably.

I use to be a volleyball player and I never have had this problem.

I went to my trainer and he messed around with it and he said it was coming out in more than one place and coming out in funky ways.

The purpose of me telling you this is I would like an opinion or if this happened to any of you what your doctor said and or did.

    Thank you for your time.

    Hi
I think you definately need to visit a professional for an assessment.
It sounds as though your shoulder may be subluxing (partially dislocating). This can cause damage to surrounding structures like the ligaments, tendons and labrum of the shoulder joint.
It can usually be fixed with a strengthening program for the entire shoulder joint, concentrating on the rotator cuff muscles.
