Thumbs up Possible Rotator Cuff Injury

I have been diagnosed with epilepsy since I was about 12 years old, Im 29 now. About three years ago I had a seizure and injured my shoulders in the process. I don't know the extent of the damage because the pain simply went away after some time. Im really active in the gym and several of my workouts continue to suffer due to this nagging injury. My question is, assuming the muscle injury was surgically repairable at the time (3 years ago), is it now too late to proceed with any surgical options to get me closest to 100% as possible?? Thank you for any input you all may have.

Well, the first step would be conservative treatment which consists of soft tissue massage and an exercise rehabilitation programme. If this fails then surgery may be considered although this would be down to your consultant and if they think this is suitable for you and your injury. An MRI would probably be required first to check exactly what is happening at the shoulder.

Until you get an MRI it is all guesswork. Find a good orthepedic surgeon and get an analysis.
