    Default Shoulder cartilage?

    Hi

I started regular weight training around 4 months ago. I recently increased the frequency to every two days until after one last set on the bench press when I hurt my right (dominant) shoulder.

The pain is at the to point of the shoulder at what feels like the confluence of the collar bone and the joint itself. The shoulder also seems to "snag" and click a lot now, dull tissue like clicks rather than bone. If I wiggle the left shoulder I can feel something similar but much milder.

It reminds me of a cartilage injury I had in a knee once, could it be a similar situation?

    Hi Chris

    Have a look at this:

Is this where it seems your pain and clicking is coming from? If this is the case then there was probably some damage to one or more of the ligaments which hold the ac joint together. The joint may have subluxed slightly which is causing the clicking.
