    Default shoulder injury cannot lift

I hurt my shoulder back 3 months ago when I fell. Not sure how I landed though. At first I had numbing and tingling down my arm. Then my shoulder was subluxing at PT. I just changed my therapy place since I have had no improvement. My arm, when out to the side only lifts to a 90 degree angle. My therapist now pushed on the front of my shoulder where the ball is and physically rotates my shoulder blade in the back and then I can lift it up a little bit higher while he does that. It is very painful as the day goes by and I am out of work. The main pain that I have is around my shoulder blade next to my spine. I am just trying to uderstand what is going on... any ideas? Thank you!!

Has the PT not told you what they think is happening? They really should have. You should always be explained what they think may be happening and why they are giving you the treatment/exercises they are.
As for what it could be - I haven't really got enough information to work on. Pin your PT down for some answers!
Have you had any investigations such as x-ray/MRI? If not I would suggest this as no imrpovement in 3 months of PT is not great!

The first therapist kept changing what he thought. This new therapist that I just switched to is great. He mentioned that my shoulder blade is rotating too early. What would cause this? I had an MRI of my shoulder and there wasn't any tears. Would that MRI show my shoulder blade too?

Yes an MRI would also show your shoulder blade.
The shoulder blade moving out of sync is usually due to muscle imbalance problems in the upper back and shoulder. Your PT has probably given you exercises to try to correct this.
Keep going if you think this PT is good, he/she sounds it!

    Hi
First stop is rest and probably try some sports massage. May just be a small muscle tear or even just a spasm from doing something it's not used to.
