    Default shoulder reinjured?

I had rorator cuff surgery when I was 18 years old. I am now 31 and think i may have reinjured my shoulder. It feels weak, like it is going to fall out of socket. I recently started working out again and really noticed the pain when i have my bicep day. The pain is in the back of my shoulder and is getting worse by the day. I am starting to struggle with everyday activities, such as steering a car and certain overhead movements. Does this sound like a tear or tendonitis?

It shows that you have permanent problem for this and do not allow your self to be suffered again. So please do contact your doc as soon as possible.

Unless you felt a specific moment of pain when doing a forceful movement or falling etc then a tear is unlikely. Rotator cuff tendonitis is more possible as this develops gradually and causes pain on overhead movements and rotation movements of the shoulder.
Rest from weight training, focus on your posture. Chest muscle stretches and scapula stabilising exercises to improve this and create more space in the shoulder for the tendons to pass.

well at this point back off from any activities that may exacerbate it and get an appointment with your primary doc who may order an MRI to rule out further tears or old adhesions. Tendonitis often responds favorable to ice packs placed on area 20 min 2xs daily, anti-inflam, and physio-therapy. look for a good six weeks of care.
