    Default Can't straighten elbow

I have had a problem with my right elbow for a few weeks now. I can't straighten my arm without a shooting pain. It doesn't cause problems until it's almost completely straight and then it really hurts. It's gotten progressively better, but still isn't right.

I work at a computer. I cycle 5 or 6 days a week. I lift weights a couple days a week (I stopped all tricep/pushing exercises once this started).

Any idea what this is and how to treat it? I don't remember any trauma like hyperextension that could have caused this.

It sort of seems like it might be from some kind of repatitive motion strain. Keyboarding, weight lifting and cycling have the same wrist motion. Perhas a tendon has been strained. In any case...I'd see a doctor at a walk in or something if the pain persists.
