Elbow contusion

Hi Everyone,

About two months ago I fell and broke my fall with my arm extended.. I had an MRI done and was told I only had a contusion. Does anyone know how long it takes for a contusion to heal?

My elbow still hurts when I completely extend it, it's still swollen and still tender to the touch. I'm thinking I should get a second opinion, but maybe It still needs more time to heal. If I do get a second opinion it will be with a specialist.

A contusion around the elbow is not a common injury. Was it above or below the elbow.
Have you had any treatment or done any yourself?
