    Default Elbow impact injury

Last night I was rock climbing at the gym and fell, landing on my left elbow (arm bent at a 90). Now I have an intense sharp pain in the elbow when I extend my arm and twist my wrist. I looked at the Mills' test and doing the test produces the pain. The pain is present doing the test without resistance. I was wondering what a positive result for this test indicates and what I should do about it.
    Thank you for any help.

    Hi
The Mills' test is for Tennis elbow, but given the way the injury occurred I think it is safe to say that you don't have tennis elbow as this tends to come on gradually. The reason it hurts when you do this test is probably more down to stretching the injured structures.
Make sure you rest and ice it regularly over the next couple of days. If there is no improvement or you cannot fully straighten the arm after this time then make an appointment to see your Doctor or even go to A and E for an x-ray.
