    Question forearm muscle pain...tennis elbow?

The muscle on the top of my forearm, about 2 inches down from elbow, hurts just making a fist. Trying to pick something up, like lifting a jar off the table is very very agrivating. I have no noticable pain in the actual elbow area. Any activity where I use that top forearm muscle is painfull. Any ideas what might be the cause.

Ive looked at many sites, but most people seem to have pain in elbow, I just have extreme soreness in that top muscle. Help would be appreciated greatly. Thanks

    Default forearm pain

    Tugguy,

Sounds like extensor carpi radialis (longus or brevis) could be the cause, or maybe supinator or brachioradialis, depending on other wrist/arm movements that increase your symptoms...

Find an "Active Release Techniques" certified chiropractor in your area-we have specific protocols to treat that and it should take no time...

    Take care,
