    Hi
I'm afraid I don't know as I have never used ACE bandages. From the picture it looks like EAB (elastic adhesive bandage). This is thin but the more you wrap it around the ankle the bulkier it will be.

ACE bandages are very similar to a in thinkness and feel to EAB or Cohesive tape but without any sticking properities at all. They are elasticated and need to be kept in place with either little metal clips, which they are normally supplied with, or tape. I terms of providing support to a joint I personally think you are better off with EAB or Zinc Oxide but they have their uses and are very good at securing ice packs in place. The tan coloured thing in the link you provided is the ACE bandage but the person seems to have something else underneath this.

I have heard that they are very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time, easy to use, and adjustable for a custom fit. From what I have heard, they are very similar to crepe bandages.

If you explain a bit more about it we would try to help. Need to know when/how it started, what it feels like, what hurts it, swelling etc?
