    Thumbs up growing pains?

when i was 11 my knees and elbows (joints) ached. back then the doctor said it was growing pains and would pass in a couple years. i am now 20 and still have them. everytime i see my doctor he says the same thing. just wanted a 2nd opinion really. could it actually be growing pains? both my elbows and knees ache constantly but my left elbow and knee seem to get worse from exercising and in cold weather. sometimes the pain is so bad i take painkillers and can barely walk. my left knee is the worse of them all. any advice would be much appreciated.

I would get a second opinion from another Doctor. Doesn't sound like 'growing pains' as most people stop by about 18 and they aren't normally that severe and long-lasting.

I am quite lucky in this matter and has never faced such sort of injuries and i play football and cricket but still saved from knee injury.
