Hand injury

I hit my hand on a door this past friday. I put some ice on it and forgot about it. There is no visible bruise but when i clench my fist there is an indention in my hand. And next to the indention is what looks like maybe something is swollen but its a localized swelling. There is no pain in my hand except when you touch the spot of the indention. Any suggestions as to what it might be?

Could be a small fracture. It is common to fracture the metacarpals following hitting something. If you think it could be, then I would recommend a trip to the Doctor or hospital for an x-ray. Especially if it doesn't clear up in the next week.

Keep it cool and don't open it and tie some piece of cloth over it and use fast em gel on your hand and you will be recover soon and best of luck.
