    Default leg pain

yes i was playing softball on sunday...ran to first base and both quads hurt...the left quad seemed to hurt the worse and while playing in the field could only put a little weight on my left leg...after a few days some of the pain has subsided but still some soarness...plus i have a little pain in the back of my knee when my weight is shifted in certain directions of my knee is bent certain ways....was just wondering what could actually be wrong...i would appreciate any input that anybody can give me.

    Hi
Did this just suddenly come on - was there an incident as such when you felt it happen - like a pop, sudden pain or anything?
Or was it more gradually with no specific incident?
It would be unusal if it came on gradually.
Do you get any back pain? Have you had any other symptoms such as tingling or numbness or shooting pains?

    Default leg pain

the pain in my quads was a sudden pain when i was running to first base...the knee pain wasnt noticeably for a few days after the quad pain...there was no tingling or numbness...i wasn't able to sit down after it had first happened bc the pain was so bad.

A sudden pain indicates a muscle strain (or tear). The knee pain may be coming on later due to tightness in the quads affecting the functioning of the knee joint.
Rest the leg if it is still painful, if not try to gently stretch it, get some massage is possible and then start to strengthen it.
