Thread: overstretched tendon?

    Question overstretched tendon?

    It feels like I have overstretched the tendon(?) in the back of my leg behind my knee at the very top of my hamstring. It's not painful, just feels real loose. I don't want to run or even walk quickly because it feels like it can't handle the impact. How do I strengthen this area?

    It probably is one of the hamstring temdons from what you have said.
    You can strengthen the tendons by strengthening the hamstrings. Have a look at our hamstring strengthening exercise page:http://www.sportsinjuryclinic.net/strengthening/hamstring.php
    Make sure there is no pain when you are doing any exercises, start slowly and gradually build.
