    Default Wrist Strain

I have had wrist problems in my left wrist particularly around the junction of the wrist and the thumb. Its a bit arthriti

It feels better when supported so would a brace help or will it just restict movement too much,

should it be worn at night to fully rest the joint

    Hi
An neoprene support may be helpful in arthritic joints. It helps to provide heat retention which generally reduces pain and increases blood flow to the joint. I think the wrap around ones are best as you can buy at return2fitness.co.uk
They shouldn't be worn at night.

None should be worn at night so that the muscles can heal by itself. You can go for a semi-theraphy to make sure all is okay.

    Hi
Yes it is ok to wear it all day, although personally if you are just resting at home (not doing anything with the wrist) then I would also not wear it then.
I just prefer the wrap around ones because they are so adjustable - the tighter you wrap it the more support and you don't have to worry about getting the right size. The one you have will more than likely give you more support than a wraparound one would.
