    Default Chronic Foot Pain

Hi, I am new to any type of forum, so forgive me for any mistakes that I may make. However, I have been suffering from chronic foot pain for well over a year. I injured my foot doing aerobic kickboxing. My Dr. diagnosed me with a torn dorsal interosseous muscle (Pain in the top of my foot by my toes). He said it was a very rare and a very severe injury. I was put in a hard cast for 2 weeks and then a walking cast (boot) for almost a month last spring. I am still having severe pain and it won't seem to go away. I also can not bend my toes. they are very stiff and painful. The Dr., who is the best in my area, says there is nothing more he can do. Does anyone have any suggestions at all? Thanks for any suggestions.

Did you get an X-ray or MRI scan? If fractures are ruled out and its definately a soft-tissue injury, try physical or manipulative therapy of some sort to get the foot moving again.
