    Default kicking someones studs

Hi guys, back in AUG I went for a shot and slammed the defenders studs with my foot, went off and that night had a huge bruise...3 months later I had an exray and no breaks but I still cant twist my foot without pain and certainly cannot play football and the pain whilst striking a ball on the top of my foot is terrible, I can jog and run pain free and am thinking I have deep bruising inside my foot as the pain is at the top but does anyone have any adive for me to help my recovery and if I start jogging will this make my complete recovery longer?

There may have been ligament/tissue damage to your foot which wouldn't have shown up in an xray. Did you ice the foot after the injury?

Even if you did have deep bruising, it should not be there 3 months later. If the foot was injured you may have scar tissue present which will cause pain. My advice would be to try & get an MRI scan to see if you have had ligament injury or see a physiotherapist.

If you can jog pain free I can't see why you should stop doing this, if the pain does flare up stop.
