    Hi,

When you hurt your ankle, what happened? Did you roll it over or was it something else? Was there bruising, swelling etc? Has the pain stayed the same or got better or worse.

Obviously this is difficult to say what you have done without assessing you myself. Do you have any pins and needles, tingling or numbness in the lower leg, ankle or foot? Do you know why the physio thinks you have nerve damage? Nerve damage rarely occurs on its own, it tends to be in conjunction with ligament or tendon damage.
