Default Calf injury now in ankle?

About 6 weeks ago I was playing soccer and pulled my right calf on the outside - as an avid soccer player and sport enthusiast, this was by far my worse pull, I was unable to even put weight on it. If felt like it was burning and I was toe walking for a few hours and limping for days. Obviously, I didn't exercise (I rum most days and lift heavy weights 5-6x a week). One I got back to it I walked andpretty much waited until all pain was gone before resuming exercise (it took some time)

NOW it seems like my ac. tendon is acting strange....though there is no pain, when I stand on my toes (yes I do this often as I am a fitness competitor and need to for posing) it feels like it's snaping --- no pain, just that I can feel it weaken and then it's fine. I feel nothing running, or walking, and not sure wh
    at it is?!?

    Hi

Following your injury the muscle probably tightened up to protect it and prevent further injury. Prolonged tightening causes a shortening in the muscle and also weakness as it is not being used properly through its whole range.

I think this may be what has happened to make the Achilles feels weak. My advice is the get some sports massage and stretch at least 3 times a day to improve the range. Once this starts to imrpove, add some single leg calf raises to increase strength throughout the range.
