Thumbs down Calf strain or tennis leg?

Was playing tennis 3 days ago and suddenly felt like as if someone had thrown a rock in my calf. Coudn't walk properly thereafter. Looks like I had the "syndrom of the whip blown leg" or "Sindrome de la pedrada" in spanish. Anyone know what is the proper treatment for this?

    Hi
I am have never heard the term you used! I would suspect that it is either a small calf muscle tear (strain), or just tightness that built up in the calf through overuse.
Either way, treatment should involve rest from anything that aggravates it, along with lots of stretching and some sports massage if you can. Find out more here: http://www.sportsinjuryclinic.net/cybertherapist/back/backlowerleg/calfstrain.htm
