    Question Deep Bone Bruising Fibula

I was struck by a car crossing a pedestrian crossing in April. It struck me on the outside at the top of my fibula just below my knee. I had xrays and they were all clear but six months down the line the top of my fibula still hurts when I cross my legs and when I push on it. Does anyone know how long bone bruising takes to heal? I also have a Back On Track Knee brace, if anyone knows what this is. Should I still be wearing it?

Bone brusing should be clear by 6 months. Sometimes small fractures don't appear on X-rays when they are taken really soon after the injury. Might be worth trying to get another one.
