    Unhappy lower leg pain

i started getting a pain in my lower right leg just below my knee a week ago - it feels hot and painful to touch however no apparant bruising or swelling - i cannot put any weight on it and if i walk it starts to ache unbearably, struggling to walk upstairs etc - i had started back at the gym after 6 monhts off following a bad fall and coccyx injury however had not been for 4 days before the pain started and had been fine...any ideas??? wondered if it is referred pain from my coccyx??? any help would be appreciated, i cant get a doctors appt for a week unless i call every day to see if cancellation - typical !

    Hi
Exactly where is the pain? At the front/side? and how far below the knee?
I think it's unlikely to be referred pain if there is an area that you can touch which is painful and feels hot. Make an appointment at the doctors. If it is better in a week you can always cancel it.
