Default Not sure about the ankle pain or shin pain

At first, this pain started over the summer when all of a sudden I feel a pain close to my ankle and below my shin. This pain doesn't hurt, but when I try to run it burns like as if I'm lifting weights and they get worn out, of course though this doesn't really feel normal. I'm trying to figure out what the problem is truely, I mean I can still can run, but the strees is there and stops me from running normally. Could this just mean I have a worn out ankle? I gave it about 3 weeks, and it just came back after that.

    Hi,

I think the problem may be tendon related. If there was no incident as such that is?

Probably an overuse injury although its obviously very difficult to say for definate. Have a look at this page and see if the symptoms match:

Bear in mind that there may not be redness and swelling. But if it is this you should be able to find a tender spot over the tendon and it should hurt to pull your toes up against resistance.

    Good luck
