    Default Peroneus Longus

    Hi,

I was playing soccer a couple of days ago and pulled a muscle on the outside of my calf. (I pressume it was my Peroneus Longus.) I thought nothing of it for a couple of days, but then looking down at my leg I noticed a lump had appeared where the pain was. It is located 4inches above my ankle, the lump is about an inch in diameter, quarter of an inch tall, and not discolored in anyway. It is also painful to touch in and around the lump. I went to the walk in clinic docter in my town, and he had no idea and referred me to physio. Does anybody have any idea what it might be?

    Default Answer to problem:

Went to an active release chiropractor today. Turns out I have a partially torn peroneus longus. The lump is blood behind the top layer of muscle.
