Talus
I chipped my Talus on July 20 playing soccer. I wore a cam walker until August 18 and then got an ankle brace and instructions to do some exercise such as biking but wait a month until I do soccer. So I waited that month and tried soccer. My first 2 games went okay...I was very careful to not run too hard, kick with the injured foot, and not get stepped on. I went wakeboarding on Sunday and it didn't seem to hurt my foot at all. Sunday night my shin started hurting but it was fine Monday morning. Monday I played 2 soccer games and immediately after playing for 5 minutes noticed my ankle was hurting...right where the ball part of your ankle stick out (sorry I don't have a better term for it) It got worse and worse and every time I run or play soccer that same spot hurts. 5 minutes after I stop running it stops hurting. I'm still wearing the brace the doctor gave me for running/soccer. Is this normal? Any ideas on what I can do to make it better?

Chipped Talus
Hi
You seem to have followed the advice given and it would be wise to seek further advice from the Doctor you visited previously to continuity. Sometimes with periods of rest areas connected to the point of injury can take a while to get back to the previous normal/pre-injury state and timelines are a guide only of course. Refer to the area below for furrther reference and follow instructions given to youy previously until you see the Doctor again who may request xray's or specific physiotherapy
