    Default Inner Knee Pain

About a month ago I was running when I felt a sharp pain in my left knee. I tryed to run through it but after only several yards I had to walk. The inside of my left knee was so sore for several days I could hardly walk. If i kept My knee locked when I walked It didn't hurt as much. I took antiinflamatory meds, iced and havent run any. After 2 weeks it started feeling better. But one morning I climed on the bumper of my truck to get a tool boxout of the back. I had the tool box in my ledt hand and stepped doun on my left knee and felt a sharp pain again and I could hardly walk the rest of the day. Finally it sterted feeling better again. I can walk mostly with out pain. The weird thing is when I drive with my knee bent fro mor then a few minutes I get a burning- sting sinsation in my knee. When i straighten in out it feels better. I can use an eliptical trainer with no pain but if i run for just a few minutes it gets sore. At first the knee was sore to the touch in the inside joint but not so much now. Also when i first did it it hurt if I bent my knee all the way back but not now. Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks

    Hi,

This could be one of a number of injuries.
    Cartilage tear:

    Ligament tear:

    Patellofemoral pain:

Have a look at the pages above and see if you think they match your symptoms. There is treatment advice there too.

    Good luck!
